AZEROTH AT WAR

AZEROTH AT WAR

A cooperative RPG and competitive tabletop campaign. Alliance and Horde. One shared story.

Wandering Adventures is running a months-long Warcraft campaign that plays out on two tracks at once. On the tabletop, Alliance and Horde warbands fight for control of Kul Tiras, Zandalar, and the Great Sea using Dragon Rampant. Wrapped around that war, a cooperative Warcraft 5e RPG (built on D&D 5e) follows your character through the same conflict. When a third-party threat endangers both factions, rivals set the war aside and fight side by side, for exactly as long as the danger lasts.

Here is the part that makes it click: your RPG character can also be the Leader of your wargame army. One month you might clash with another commander in the field and force their retreat. The next, you and your party delve a stronghold together chasing loot and levels. The campaign zooms in and out between the grand war and your own story.

THREE WAYS TO JOIN

You do not have to do both halves. Pick the one that suits you.

The Wargame. Command a 30-point Dragon Rampant warband. Issue attack orders, take territory, defend your capital, and build Renown across the campaign.

The RPG. Play a character in the cooperative Warcraft 5e adventures that interrupt the war whenever a shared threat rises.

Both. Run a warband and play its Leader as your RPG character. This is the full experience, and each half feeds the other.

HOW IT RUNS

The campaign runs roughly 8 to 10 months. Each month there is one RPG session, with the wargame rounds played in the weeks leading up to it. You will have about three weeks to get your battles in for the round. After each round we update the map, resolve who controls what, advance the threats, and reveal the next month's adventure hook.

The whole campaign is run by a Game Master, so rules can flex where they need to and nobody feels slighted.

WHAT YOU NEED

Wargame track: a 30-point Dragon Rampant warband, one player-character Leader unit costing no more than 10 Army Points, dice, and the player guide.

RPG track: a character and the player guide.

No army yet? We can help. The store offers 3D printing support and access to many miniature lines to get your force built and on the table.

The full rules, maps, factions, and campaign systems are in the player guide, which is nearing completion.
