How to Start a Return

1.    Contact us first — email hello@wanderingadventures.ca or visit in-store. We'll confirm eligibility.

2.    Pack the item securel..

3.    Ship it back (return shipping is your cost unless we made an error) or bring it to the store.

4.    Once received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

 

Event Tickets

Event tickets — including tournaments, Armory events, Open Paint Nights, and Pre-Rift events — are non-refundable once purchased.

       You can transfer your ticket to someone else. Just let us know at least 24 hours before the event.

       If we cancel or significantly change an event, you'll get a full refund or store credit.

       No-shows do not qualify for refunds.

 

Items We Cannot Accept Back

       Opened booster packs or randomized sealed product — this is strictly final sale once opened.

       Assembled, converted, primed, or painted miniatures.

       Opened or used hobby supplies.

       Items damaged after purchase or missing original components.

       Clearance items marked as final sale at time of purchase.

 

Received Something Wrong or Damaged?

Return & Refund Policy

Complete Terms and Conditions — Effective: March 27, 2026

1. Scope and Application

This Return and Refund Policy ("Policy") governs all purchases made through Wandering Adventures ("the Store," "we," "us"), including in-store transactions and online orders placed through wanderingadventures.ca, which is operated in Ontario, Canada. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms of this Policy. Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any statutory rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) or other applicable legislation.

 

2. Return Eligibility

2.1 General Conditions

To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met unless a product-specific section below provides otherwise:

       The return request is initiated within the applicable window measured from the date of purchase (in-store) or date of delivery (online orders).

       The item is in its original, unaltered condition with all original packaging, accessories, and components intact.

       A valid proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is presented.

       A Return Authorization (RA) number has been obtained prior to returning the item (see Section 5).

Must be returned in the same condition as sold, matching the grading and condition notes provided at time of sale. Condition disputes must be raised within 7 days of purchase or delivery.

Dice & Accessories

Must be in original, unopened packaging.

Pre-Owned Items

Sold as-is. Returns accepted only if the item materially fails to match its condition description at point of sale. Disputes must be raised within 7 days of purchase.

Gift Cards

Non-refundable

Gift cards are non-refundable, non-redeemable for cash, and not replaceable if lost or stolen.

Clearance / Final Sale Items

Non-refundable

Items marked as clearance or final sale at the time of purchase are not eligible for return or exchange except as required by law.

3. Event Tickets

3.1 General Non-Refundable Policy

All event tickets — including but not limited to tournament registrations, Flesh and Blood Armory events, Riftbound Pre-Rift events, Open Paint Nights, and all other events hosted at or by Wandering Adventures — are non-refundable once purchased, except as provided in Section 3.3.

3.2 Ticket Transfers

A ticket purchaser may transfer their ticket to another eligible individual. Transfer requests must be submitted in writing (email is acceptable) to hello@wanderingadventures.ca no later than 24 hours before the event start time. The Store reserves the right to decline a transfer request at its sole discretion.

3.3 Store-Initiated Cancellations or Material Changes

If the Store cancels an event, or makes a material change to a scheduled event (including a significant change in date, time, venue, or format) that the ticket holder does not accept, the affected customer will be entitled to a full refund to the original payment method or a store credit of equal value, at the customer's election. Minor scheduling adjustments or minor format updates do not constitute material changes.

3.4 No-Shows

Customers who do not attend a purchased event are not entitled to a refund, credit, or transfer after the event has passed.

 

4. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items are not eligible for return under any circumstances, except as required by applicable law:

       Opened or seal-broken booster packs, collector boxes, draft sets, or any randomized TCG sealed product.

       Miniatures that have been assembled, converted, primed, basecoated, or painted in any way.

       Hobby supplies (including paints, glues, tools, and basing materials) that have been opened or used.

       Items damaged by the customer after purchase, or used in a manner inconsistent with their intended purpose.

       Items returned without a valid Return Authorization (RA) number.

       Items returned after the applicable return window has expired.

       Gift cards and store credit.

       Clearance or final-sale items, if clearly identified as such at point of purchase.

 

5. Return Process

5.1 Return Authorization

All returns require prior authorization. To obtain authorization, contact us at info@wanderingadventures.ca with your order or transaction number, the item(s) to be returned, and the reason for the return. Returns received without a valid RA number may be refused and returned to the sender at the sender's expense.

5.2 Return Shipping

For online orders, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and assumes all risk of loss or damage during transit, unless the return is the result of an error by the Store or a defect in the product. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method. The Store is not liable for items lost or damaged in return transit.

In-store purchases may be returned directly at the store during regular business hours, with original proof of purchase and a valid RA number.

5.3 Inspection and Restocking

Upon receipt, returned items will be inspected against the eligibility conditions in Section 2. The Store reserves the right to refuse non-compliant returns. A restocking fee of up to 15% of the item's purchase price may be applied, at the Store's discretion, where an item requires remediation before resale (e.g., repackaging).

 

6. Refunds

6.1 Refund Method

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. If the original payment method is no longer available, a store credit will be issued.

6.2 Processing Time

Refunds will be initiated within 5–7 business days of the Store receiving and approving the returned item. Additional processing time (typically 3–5 business days) may be required by the customer's financial institution before funds appear.

6.3 Shipping Costs

Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to a Store error (e.g., incorrect item shipped, item arrived damaged or defective).

6.4 Exchanges

Subject to product availability, the Store may offer an exchange in lieu of a monetary refund, at the Store's discretion and with the customer's agreement.

 

7. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is defective, was damaged during shipping, or materially differs from what was ordered, you must notify the Store within 48 hours of delivery (online orders) or at the time of in-store purchase. Photographic documentation of the damage or discrepancy is required where reasonably possible. Upon verification, the Store will offer a replacement, refund, or store credit at its discretion.

Note: Minor cosmetic variations — such as slight mould lines on plastic miniatures, minor paint shading differences, or typical print production variations — that do not affect the functionality or completeness of a product do not constitute a defect.

 

8. Consumer Protection

This Policy is subject to, and does not limit or override, any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) or any other applicable consumer protection legislation. In the event of any conflict between this Policy and your statutory rights, your statutory rights prevail.

 

9. Amendments

The Store reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. The current version will be posted at wanderingadventures.ca with an updated effective date. Purchases made after the effective date of an updated Policy are governed by the updated terms.
