Age of Sigmar Spearhead: City of Ash

Spearhead is the fast, small-scale way to play Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Fixed forces, no list building, quick games. It is the easiest way to learn Age of Sigmar from scratch and the easiest way to get back into it if you have been away from the table.

We are running it in two parts. Come to the practice day to learn or shake off the rust, then return for the tournament.

Day One — Practice & Open Play
Saturday, August 30, 12:00 PM
A relaxed session with no scoring and no pressure. Learn the rules from the ground up, brush off the rust, or just get games in before the tournament. New to Spearhead? Our staff will walk you through a full game.

Day Two — Tournament
Saturday, September 13, 12:00 PM
Three games, Swiss format. Every player gets all three rounds regardless of record. The player with the best result takes home the prize. Capped at 12 players. All 3 Spearhead Maps are in play.

Format

• Three rounds, Swiss pairing. You play all three games regardless of record.
• All 3 Spearhead maps will be played
• Scoring: Win 3, Draw 1, Loss 0. Tiebreakers: total victory points, then head-to-head.
• Armies are locked at the door.

What to Bring

• Your own assembled Spearhead force. Any Spearhead box roster works.
• Models do not need to be painted to compete, but must be painted to be eligible for Best Painted.
• Dice, a tape measure, and your Spearhead cards or deck if you have them.
