Ever wanted to throw down with Batman, Wolverine, or the Flash on the tabletop? HeroClix is the classic superhero miniatures game where every figure's stats live on a rotating dial in its base -- as your hero takes damage, the dial clicks and their powers change. No painting, no army building, no homework. Show up and play.

This is night one of a three-part intro series, built for complete beginners. We'll teach you the game from zero using the brand-new 2026 Marvel and DC Starter Sets. 

What's provided: Everything. Figures, maps, dice, and printed reference cards are all supplied. Just bring yourself.

Door prize: Every attendee is entered into a draw for an exclusive HeroClix figure you can't pull from boosters. We're giving away two on the night.

What's next: Night two covers the full power system and we'll crack boosters live at the table. It all leads to our HeroClix Sealed Showdown on [date] -- open boosters, build your team on the spot, and battle for prizes. Sealed spots are limited to 8 and signups open at this event.

HeroClix: Zero to Hero -- Night Two: Power Up

You've learned the ropes -- now it's time to unlock the full game.

Night two of our Zero to Hero series flips your heroes over to their advanced character cards and opens up the complete power system: Hypersonic Speed, Impervious, Outwit, and the rest of the color-coded arsenal that makes HeroClix tick. Same characters, whole new game.

What's provided: Everything, same as night one. Figures, maps, dice, and printed reference cards supplied.

Door prize: Every attendee is entered into a draw for an exclusive HeroClix figure you can't pull from boosters. We're giving away two on the night.

Missed night one? You can still jump in -- come 15 minutes early and we'll get you caught up on the basics.

HeroClix: Zero to Hero -- The Sealed Showdown

[Sept 5th] | [12:00 PM start, 1:00 PM first round] | Wandering Adventures, Woodbridge

This is what it's all been building to.

Every player receives two sealed HeroClix boosters -- one Marvel Avengers Forever, one DC Fight for Gotham City, or two from one set. Crack them open, build a 300-point team from whatever you pull, and battle through three rounds of Swiss to crown our first Zero to Hero champion. Ten figures, zero preparation, pure improvisation. Will you field Batman? Carnage? Some unholy alliance of both? Nobody knows until the boosters open -- including you.

How it works:

• 12:00 PM: Doors, check-in, boosters distributed
• 12:05-12:45 PM: Open your boosters and build your team (we'll be on hand to help)
• 1:00 PM: Three rounds of Swiss, 50-minute rounds
• Figures and character cards only for team building -- keep any bonus cards you pull for your collection

Everything you open is yours to keep. Ten figures minimum walk out the door with every player, win or lose.

Prizes:
Check-in (everyone):

• 1x Klyntar Bloom terrain piece + terrain card per player (uses 8 of your 12)

Final standings:

• 1st place: Limited Edition Spider-Man Noir HeroClix Figure  + 1 sealed booster
• Fellowship award (player-voted best opponent): Limited Edition Spider-Man Noir HeroClix Figure 
• Random draw (all players except 1st and fellowship winner): Limited Edition Spider-Man Noir HeroClix Figure + 1 sealed booster

New to HeroClix? This event is designed for our Zero to Zero series graduates, but anyone is welcome -- if you missed the learn-to-play nights, let us know when you register and we'll pair you with a mentor for round one.
