Legions Imperialis: Astartes Thunderhawk Gunship

he Thunderhawk Gunship fulfils a number of roles within the Legiones Astartes, but primarily acts as a drop ship, soaring through both atmosphere and void space to deliver its deadly cargo of Space Marines. It is also a formidable weapons platform in its own right, however, equipped to scour landing zones and engage enemy aircraft.

This multipart plastic kit builds an epic scale Thunderhawk Gunship. This airborne behemoth's primary weapon is a dorsal turbo-laser destructor, while its fuselage and wings each support a pair of heavy bolter turrets for lighter targets. It also boasts a pair of lascannons mounted on secondary 'attack wings', which offer glueless assembly to adjust their positioning mid-game. The Thunderhawk comes with six hellstrike missiles to mount under its main wings, and can be built with its landing gears extended for touchdown, or retracted within its hull.

This model can also be used in games of Aeronautica Imperialis by mounting it on an appropriate Aeronautica Imperialis base, sold separately.

This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
