With Ascending Heroes and Perfect Order just released, we are in the dawn of a new age for Pokemon TCG. 

For the 2026 Pokémon TCG competitive season, the "G" regulation mark cards are rotating out of the Standard format. This rotation, which officially takes effect on April 10, 2026 (March 26, 2026, on Pokémon TCG Live), marks the retirement of most cards from the first year of the Scarlet & Violet era.

Now, H I & J cards will take over.
  • Sets Leaving: Scarlet & Violet Base Set, Paldea Evolved, Obsidian Flames, 151, Paradox Rift, and Paldean Fates.
  • Key Cards Leaving: Significant Supporters, Items, and Pokémon, including various Charizard ex, Gardevoir ex, and other key staples.
  • Reprints: Older cards (such as Boss's Orders or Rare Candy) remain legal if they have been reprinted in a set with a valid "H" or newer mark.

    Join us for an afternoon dedicated to rebuilding, testing, and experimenting with the new format. Bring your cards, trade with other players, and start shaping the decks you’ll be playing this season.

    Whether you’re adjusting an old favourite or building something completely new, this is a relaxed event where players can explore the new rotation together. We’ll have tables open for deckbuilding, casual games, and discussions about what might rise to the top of the new format.

    What to bring:

    • Your cards and deck(s)

    • Deckbuilding supplies (sleeves, dice, damage counters)

    • Trade binders if you have them

    This is a great opportunity to meet other local players, test ideas, and walk away with a fresh deck ready for the new season.

    Come experiment, rebuild, and see what the new format has in store.
