Riftbound: Radiance and the Fastest Rising Card Game We Carry Wandering Adventures

It is a little wild to think about how quickly Riftbound has gone from brand new to a fixture at the store. The League of Legends card game has only been out about a year, and in that time it has become one of the most talked about new TCGs on the market and one of the most popular tables we run. If you have not tried it yet, its next set is a great place to jump in, and it is nearly here.

Radiance is the fifth Riftbound set, and it releases on October 23, with the reveal season having already kicked off in late September so you have had a steady drip of previews to get excited about. It is one of the larger sets the game has put out, and the champion lineup is stacked with fan favourites. Seraphine, Evelynn, Ekko, Ziggs, and Jarvan the Fourth all headline, and there is a strong K/DA flavour running through the set that the League crowd is going to love. The showdown box pairing Seraphine and Evelynn is the kind of product that sells itself to anyone who has ever cared about that side of the game.

For anyone who has not played, Riftbound is built to be picked up. Games are punchy, the champion decks give you a clear identity to build around, and the whole thing carries that instantly recognisable League energy in its art and characters. It has managed the tricky thing of being approachable for people brand new to card games while still having the depth to keep competitive players interested, which is exactly why it has taken off the way it has.

The other reason it is thriving is that Riot has kept the release cadence steady and, importantly, brought the global release dates in line so everyone gets new cards at the same time. No more watching one region play with cards you cannot get. That kind of consistency is what turns a hot launch into a game with staying power, and it is why we have been comfortable leaning into it.

We run Riftbound Nexus Nights at the store, so there is a regular, friendly place to learn and play, and Radiance is a perfect excuse to come down. Whether you are a League player who wants to see your champions on the tabletop or a card game person curious what all the noise is about, we will get you into a game. Radiance product and singles will be in as they land, in store in Woodbridge and online. Come find out why this one caught fire.
